aspirations

after reading one of our favorite books, kevin henkes' "lilly's purple plastic purse", i asked my children what they wanted to be when they grow up.  this is what they told me:
Briar - a mom, have my own office, a veteranarian, travel around the world taking photographs and then writing about them, an oceanographer.
Jacob - an explorer that looks at wildebeasts, a computer desk (?), oceanographer, scuba diver.
Charlie - a rock n' roll man, a baby, a bird, a dad that has a pet baby turtle who never grows up.
